I'm not. I love being truthful. Oh the other hand, I'm sorry you have to move to Washington in order to realize what is considered a "Beautiful state". You've clearly never been downtown Tacoma, Seattle, etc. I'm sorry you're so salty like you're "Favorite" shithole is. Truth is hard to accept sometimes kiddo.

Because of they idiots they elect, to be honest. I've lived here for about 7 1/2 years, and been waiting on ANYTHING to change. It hasn't. When news stations in Washington's favor put out video like "Seattle is dying" with a 2 hour documentary.....well it isn't good news. Not to mention the biggest job employer has decided to move out of Seattle for "Worker safety" and etc. You know it's bad. Either way, Washington USED to be awesome, and is now a landfill of bad politics and horrible crime/homelessness.

Please don't use the term redneck. I'm not one to get offended, but I grew up in Kentucky and every presumes people in Kentucky have no shoes, running water, and are "Rednecks" You don't know how blessed you are until you've spent 20 years in Eastern Kentucky. So please, just stop.

No. The weather is shit, people are very cold and hard to get to know, and the law enforcement are super ego type shit. Oregon, like it or not(IDGAF) is the better version of Washington. I came up here to start over, and within a year realized I had fucked up badly in my decision. It's beautiful, but that's about it.

I don't know. Opportunity is good, there's everything I need, I'm comfortable.

But people are strange, and it's lonely. Everyone talks about the beauty of the state but I don't see it. It's so dull and there are just roads everywhere, it's not walkable. If there is beauty I guess you gotta drive 2 hours away to see it? Some days it feels like I'm living in a junkyard. I thought it was just Everett, but it feels like the whole Seattle area is like that, haven't found a place that clicks.

Ex: you look up "beach" on Google Maps and in theory there are plenty around but they're tiny and inaccessible. Same for parks, half of the park is a parking lot. I don't get it.

… you take that… no you’re absolutely 100% correct. I hear it way too often but this place is “the forgotten realm of reality..”

Do I like living here in Washington? Yes and no. Yes, because it’s the first place that I moved to without any care or opinions of my family. Picked a place on the map and moved to Sequim. All with two backpacks, a duffel bag and a box with my bike in it. One of my siblings called me a “selfish bastard.” For not considering them first. Oh well., I am out here. Have a family now. Also the green, and the weather. (I have lived in Minnesota for winters and summers, I have lived in Southern California out near Palm Springs), No, because Forks is small, it’s redneck, and it’s not super friendly to outsiders (despite what is said).

I love it, and I don't; the Spring, Summer, And Fall are beautiful. The mountains and forests here are to die for. The winters are so harsh here that we get no sunlight, which affects my mental health. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else three seasons out of the year. 😆
