Yeah none for me since july 2020 :/
Even the apt neighbors go out of their way to show me their horrible attitudes towards me for no reason. I'm from Colorado, quiet yet like to wave or say 'Hello' with a smile to show respect. Cats and dog are my friends now.

They are so very understaffed it’s heartbreaking.
I used to work at an Emergency Vet. It’s great to have on my resume but I left because that job wrecked my mental health more than any other i’ve ever had. I’ve been thinking about something more low key like a spay/neuter only clinic or anything where I’m not working alone for 9hrs with no breaks.

I’ve thought about it! There’s actually some that look really nice in my area ive been checking them out. I actually used to work at an ER Vet so i’m very familiar with the stress of working with animals lolololol.

Spokane has changed so much even in the last 10 years though I would argue in the summer the same vehicles in the picture are still there.

King County has summer field positions sampling stream invertebrates. They should be posting those soon. A full time wildlife position, even for someone with a degree, is a unicorn job. Most people in full time wildlife positions start with a series of temp and seasonal jobs and get a master's degree before scoring that full time job.

I have some free time in my schedule I could chain myself to something on the west side. I would benefit from getting out of the Spokane snow

Is it deliberate or thoughtless?
Kinda like undermining the citizenry from participating in their local government is their goal? Or they've always been like this and it's just now being noticed?

Right but that’s not a tax advantaged account like a 529 account is.

I love these old vintage pictures. It's cool trying to figure out what cars are what makes, etc. All these little stores too. I think I even see a Dr Pepper sign. So cool, thankks.

It might not be what you have in mind, but what about working at a dog daycare? I've been a dog daycare employee for several years and was hired without any experience or degree, and many of our new hires have no relevant experience. You learn so much about dog behavior and body language. It can be a stressful and difficult job, but if you love dogs it's rewarding. Definitely not boring. There are a lot of shitty daycares out there though, so you have to find a good one!

Veterinary clinics seem understaffed; a support job could be a great way to get related experience and address the spay/neuter crisis.

That's fair, most people when they say "Sales Tax" mean the single type used basically across the board in the US and don't mean things like a VAT tax, luxury tax, etc. If we mean the broader term then yeah it can be progressive.

It’s not a fact just because you say it is. Most sales taxes exempt necessary household goods and food. You could also impose high sales taxes on luxury goods that only rich folks buy like yachts planes and caviar. It is very possible to not make sales type taxes regressive. I’d support super high tax on luxury goods before I’d even support an income tax for Washington. Earned Income taxes crush the middle class that’s all they are for.

It's literally just factually correct. You cann't make a sales tax progressive. You can make an income tax progressive. That doesn't mean every income tax is progressive, doesn't mean income tax is inherently a better idea, or anything of the sort. I am simply stating a fact about income taxes that would be one reason people would support one.
And I'd rather we just not file taxes at all, every year, like real countries do.

I did a great internship in Alaska (enumerating spawning sockeye) with the Student conservation Association, I recommend checking their website out. I didn’t get paid but they paid for room and food and a plane ticket.
