>The Colonial Peak area is kind of tough. I think the sun is mostly hitting an unnamed mountain behind Colonial Peak.
There's nothing major blocking light from hitting Colonial per se, it's just the orientation of the sun at this time of year. When you're looking at Colonial from the Diablo overlook area, you're looking at the northwest face of the peak. The morning sun hits the southeast face in the winter, so literally the exact opposite side of the mountain. You'll start to see more direct sunlight on that face by April, and it's far more interesting by mid May. Snowfield Peak is the larger one behind Colonial, but it's located southwest of Colonial so it won't block anything at sunrise at all.
> Does that ridge at Washington Pass that's connected to Early Winter Spires and Liberty Bell Mountain not have a name? (last picture)
The high point on that ridge is known as Pica Peak, and the summit immediately south of Early Winters Spires is Blue Lake Peak, but the ridge itself has no formal name. The high summit on the far left in your picture though is Copper Point.

Sorry, I meant the Salish peoples in general.

Plot a path to Hell's Canyon via the palouse. The stretch where Highway 95 descends to the Snake river is something you gave to experience for yourself. For a longer trip, head out to Idaho and see Craters of the Moon.

Neighboring counties with similar fertile ground have welcomed a lot of growers. Pretty sure most weed you'll find in a pot shop in indoor gorwn.

Cle elum or ellensburg is more like the line. Ask anyone there and they'll say they live in Eastern WA. Don't ask my source :z

It used to be driving east once you left Seattle there wasnβt any decent coffee til you hit Spokane. Then they put in a Starbucks in Moses Lake, which some would debate is βdecentβ coffee, but itβs something. Iβd say the line was moved over to Moses Lake, for coffee purposes. Kind of a dessert after that!

A Seattle Tuxedo is your nice jeans and a goretex jacket.
The people describing the informality of dress here are totally correct. Don't treat this like some opening night gala or you're going to stand out.

Reply to comment by adamr_ in Do you think taking the Puget Sound ferries are worth it? by [deleted]
And a fraction of the cost!
Unique_Engineering_3 t1_jb2ug9x wrote
It costs at least 50Β’ per mile to drive. Plus the toll heading east if you take the bridge. Plus the time to drive.
After you figure the fiscal cost of driving then itβs βjustβ a matter of the time/effort value to you the ferry provides of its not the outright winner on the cost calculation alone.
If itβs a wash Iβll usually take the ferry to avoid the driving hassles and risks. Iβm also more likely to ferry east and drive west.
