After hyping up the mountains, coasts and woods here to a childhood friend who had never left Arizona, he landed here on 9/22/20 for hiking visit.

He was still blown away at the woods here but I was dying inside the whole time.

They are a$0.49 gas tax I believe in January. They want to keep increasing it until people can’t afford gas and get EV. It’s a terrible tax for lower income that taxes them at a higher percentage and will never be able to afford an EV, or families where there are no EVs big enough to fit them

That part of the state is pretty sparsely populated in general, and the town has less than 3,000 people. Maybe not technically rural, but you're pretty far from any major cities.

It's only 20 minutes from Pullman, though, which is a nice college town, and the area is beautiful.

The Iron Horse was a cool little burger joint that would deliver your burger and fries on a little choo choo train. Everything sucked way less. The Mariners were kinda good and the Sonics lost to Micheal Jordan and the Bulls. Coining the phrase the North West Choke. Because up until the Seahawks won the superbowl all our sports teams were choke artists. In the 90’s Issaquah growth exploded, and turned into a god forsaken piece of shit subdivision full of cunty Karen’s and Microsoft corporate boot lickers.
