Hm. Looks like the hospital is hiring which is how I started looking into the town to begin with.

I understand that this is caused by wildfires and it was hard to deal with which is why I mentioned it in my earlier comment. I litterally experienced this first hand myself. My point is that the picture itself is visually appealing which most people would agree with.
Don't act like I'm being an asshole here, I fucking experienced this first hand too so stop acting like I don't understand what's going on here lol.

Considering the fact that there are no employment opportunities within 50 miles, you'll have plenty of time on your hands to work on your meth habit like everyone else. Until the entire town gets deleted by a tsunami, that is...

This is where freedom goes? And then it dies there? Where was it before it went inside a building to die?

Depends on the department and division, really, but overall there are a lot of positions open. I work for DOH and they have openings. Might have some MA5 positions open. Good luck!

As an orchestra kid in Olympia, I ended up playing in the rotunda a couple times and always hated it. The echoes were brutal and always threw off the cellos and first violins. Made us sound so sloppy!
The space is awesome though if you aren’t holding a Viola.

Thank for the insight! I made sure my all my responses had keywords from the job posting. How does the hiring landscape look right now for state workers?

I don't think so. They'll run it thru the keyword search tool and get a list of passes, then a human looks at, as far as I understand.
It has been an issue sometimes that the HR people have a tighter filter than the hiring manager desires.
Not sure how to get around the human filter. It depends on the hiring manager, they really have to kick up a fuss sometimes to get the whole list of "meets minimum" candidates.

The problem the west is facing is a logistics one in addition to corporate greed. The unfortunate problem we have is a lack of access to our own refineries. California has some but a lot are offline due to maintenance. So we have to get more refined fuels from across the country to meet the demand….there’s also the whole thing of if the people pay for it it keeps getting worse.

Beautiful building.
Too bad HB1240 violates section 24 of the WA constitution and is being rammed through anyways.

I feel this as a PNW/Washington baby that has now grown up and has to adult. Moving sounds great, but looking into it, it’s terrifying too

That whole week was hell on earth. Peak Covid, election ramping up, protests still going on. Really felt like the end times.

I went there too! For a year, anyway. I had just moved to Oly from Shelton and went there for a year before going to Washington Middle School.
