Vacationed in 2017, moved in 2019. WA still hasn't lost it's wonder.

Not really.
Edit: not really in the prices don't drop that dramatically unless you're in bumfuck nowhere with no jobs.

Reply to wanting to get 15% tint on my car, any chances this is commonly caught by police? by [deleted]
I had a black 2003 Mazda Protege5 that was a little modded, but it didn't have a loud exhaust or flashy rims or anything like that. I had 15% put on and never had an issue over the 3-4 years I still had the car. I even got pulled over one time for my tabs being a month expired and the officer didn't blink an eye.
My rule was generally -- Windows are all the way up or all the way down, limiting how much light contrast there would be between the windows and interior itself. No idea if it ever made a difference haha.

Once the new long term care act kicks in I believe you can but that's 3 years away.

Yes! As an individual provider through CDWA. Go to the website for Department of Social and Health Services. There will be a link.

I worked in Long Term Care and spouses were unable to become paid caregivers.

Idk, my house is lovely and was $325k a couple years ago 🤷♀️
The peninsula is nice, I can still see Rainier on a clear day, and downtown Seattle is like an hour away.

My mom took me to Seattle as a gift when I graduated HS.
That was 100% what made me apply to UW for grad school.
Lived here ever since, married a Washingtonian, love the rain… I’ve fully converted 😂

The Mountains Out! Love those days. I was a kid when we moved out here from Florida. Thank you Dad. Now I have a son in Port Townsend with his family and one in Spokane Valley with his family. Hubs and I will stay here in Kent for as long as we can.

Yes you can! I forget how to go about it, but talk to a social worker from your spouse's doctor or hospital and they can help you.

Becoming a paid caregiver in Washington.
Spouses can not be paid.
There is free or low cost help for unpaid caregivers through the Family Caregiver Support Program.

The stretch of Hwy 12 between Yakima and White Pass is the best!

I grew up by Bellingham and Mt. Baker is magical. I live on the east side now, we don't have the mountains or ocean, but we do have all 4 season which is nice.
