Wake up to what? Get woke you mean? No thanks. I don't want to live in a world where I think everyone is an asshole. I have been pulled over 10 times in 36 years of driving, arrested once, have had the cops called on my twice for being a drunk asshole, and I still want one of those BASTARDS to call when someone is assaulting me, raping me or robbing me, but I guess I am just asleep. Dude, seriously, move on from ACAB and go fend for yourself in Seattle or Portland.

>Not all are and that attitude doesn't help. I got pulled over for expired tabs and even though we had a talk about the half burnt joint in my ashtray, he still let me go to go buy them. Going on to JBLM once, they let me go buy them. The other two times, I got ticketed, once thrown out, once reduced fee, so HOCAB (half of cops are bastards?)

Those 'not a bastard' cops, still watch their other cop brothers be bastards and do nothing about it. Wake up.

The sticker doesn't matter. When they go to pull you over they look up your registration on their computer and it tells them when yours expires. Like the exact date. The sticker is there to give them a reason to possible check if you're expired. Like technically if you expire on on Sept 3rd, and your sticker says sept and it's sept 20th then it's expired.

This was a cop doing a power trip, if you don't believe that you're just not paying attention.

And while I'm talking to myself on a dead thread. The politics of the Salish Coast people gets even more interesting. A faction of people with tribal heritage left their tribes, but now wish to be recognized as a new tribe: the Duwamish. With the modern reparations movements, they believe anyone living in modern Seattle ought to be paying them rent: https://www.realrentduwamish.org So you can kind of see what the focus of this group is.

However the Muckleshoot, Puyallup, and Tulalip tribes already claim this land as their ancestral home. Coincidentally they each run profitable casinos and get special access to fishing rights. If another tribe was recognized, what would they give up? They took out https://www.therealduwamish.org to try to smear the former group.

So it's nuts out there with inter-tribe politics, but the common thread is that money and business come with ownership of tribal heritage and land. It all feels a little disingenuous - it's cultural panhandling.

Welcome, I hope you like it here. I’d refuse and make it their problem. I’d accept using outlook dot com app or their encrypted messaging app on my locked down personal device.
If some chit goes down, they can try to compel you give them your phone for a HR, police, insurance claim, L&I investigation, or almost anything. Regardless of your involvement/actual culpability. If this moment ever arrives I’ll delete the company app, then reset the device and wipe all the data, then hand it over and immediately suspend service on the device, then replace it. This is just the device part. Good luck.
