Good luck! We went one year to Ike Kinswa during the week of labor day. Weather was gorgeous and there were only about five other campsites occupied. So quite and peaceful and had the lake totally to ourselves.

We have a salvage title, and we can only have liability insurance. BF totalled the truck, and insurance said we could have $X and give up the truck, or a bit less and keep the truck with salvage title. It was almost all cosmetic, so we took the check and a salvage title. The resale value is now nil, and you can't have full coverage insurance on it, as it has already been declared a total loss once before, as far as I understand.

You should add something to your survey. There are some people, like me, that got to the casino because it’s a cheap and decent dinner. I rarely if ever gamble but go at least once a week for either their breakfast ($4.99) or dinner / buffet.

May be too late to reserve anything. Personally I stay away from hot spots on holiday weekends. I go in when they all are coming out :-)

That being said, I like Ike Kinswa State Park and Seaquest State Park.

Yes, Ellensburg, but I never said don't go there, only gave a facetious warning to people of color. Wasn't my wife, her brother was driving and I was the passenger in a private parking lot and police pulled us over and stuck him in the back of the police car for twenty minutes, they never said a word to me. I asked him what was going on and he said happens often, let's just go. So we did, but he didn't look happy and his face was very red.

buying land and building is wayyy harder than buying a house and fixing it up. Land is a horrible investment, if it's a good location then it's already expensive, if it's not you'll have to pray that it will.

But if you actually do, you'll need to clear the land, get it survey, put in a well and septic, put in electricity lines. Very very expensive work.

You're putting words in my mouth? This can be some cop being a bitch (threatening to tow his car for not expired tabs) and incompetence by the state for not giving him a new month sticker. Also your situation while similar is also completely different and has to do with a COA and not the cops at all?

Now isn’t a great time to buy IMO.

Mortgage rates are up and property values have only slumped a little… if you’re able to hold onto they money and keep saving for a few more years you might just find yourself a better home for less with better interest rates.

There’s always the risk that rates and prices will go even higher, but I’d bet $5 they’ll be significantly lower in a few years.
