To be fair I'm from Florida, the number one state ppl are moving to and we are priced out of our own neighborhood. I get it, home prices are crazy. But it's like this is most places,.even rural areas have gotten way more expensive because work from home. But don't be mad at the people, it's really more about wages not keeping up with inflation, but I digress, that's a whole different topic.

Appreciate it.
I know they aren't all 'artistic', but still interesting. It's hard to tell which ones are actually good, I can never trust my own taste.

Thanks, that's high on our list at the moment because we have family there. Seems like it is centrally located.

Lewis county - Centralia and Chehalis libraries are both located in old buildings (centralia’s is cooler imo) but they are both very small.
Puyallup library is very nice, and on Saturdays in the summer they have a great farmers market in the park outside of it.
As a side note In king county if you haven’t checked out the renton library it’s pretty cool, the entire library is on a bridge spanning the cedar river.

I grew up in Oly and I wish I could move back. Great schools (I went to Pioneer, Washington MS & Oly High), but also very white/not diverse. No matter where you live, you’ll have to deal with traffic.

I like to take I-90 eastbound and westbound because Highway 2 is steeper and I finished off a set of brakes once coming down off Stevens Pass going to Seattle. Highway 2 is the more scenic drive though in my opinion.
Even if you take 90 and then 97 (Blewett Pass), you can still hit Leavenworth, it's not that far from where 97 intersects with 2.

I think the Silverdale branch is probably your best bet for the Kitsap system. Nearby I'd recommend Silver City Brewpub or Peter's Kitchen.

The one with the wave blur around the rock. The reflection off the sand without any water. The one where the water looks like fog. And the in focus round rocks.

I90 for the fastest route, highway 2 for a scenic drive with nice little shops and restaurants along the way

2 has less lanes, more towns, more stop lights, more speed traps, and fewer passing zones.

I think of Highway 2 as more of a summer drive. There’s a good chance that weather will be be a factor this time of year. It is one of the most beautiful drives I have ever been on, but that was in the summer.

Highway 2 out of Monroe into Gold Bar is a nightmare on a good day. It’s beautiful but the traffic is terrible.

I90 is generally less annoying with some traffic, highway 2 is rage inducing if you get behind a semi or a long stretch of bad drivers, other than that it is fine and 2 is much more scenic. Out of the Wenatchee valley highway 97 over blewett pass and then get on I90 in Cle Elum is fastest way to Seattle
