WTF is Lewis County Sheriffs office trying to pull? Seems like they’re trying to protect the 20yo Asbach. That needs to be investigated further just as much as the wrongful death. May have just been negligence to start but the sheriff’s office has made it a conspiracy/obstruction of justice and whole lot more.

I've only been there when it was not allowed for people to go down there. I'd really love to snag some photos like this, but not enough to disrespect the trail markers.

It can't stay closed forever though.... can it?

Lion's mane jellyfish

>The lion's mane jellyfish (Cyanea capillata), also known as the giant jellyfish, arctic red jellyfish, or the hair jelly, is one of the largest known species of jellyfish. Its range is confined to cold, boreal waters of the Arctic, northern Atlantic, and northern Pacific Oceans. It is common in the English Channel, Irish Sea, North Sea, and in western Scandinavian waters south to Kattegat and Øresund. It may also drift into the southwestern part of the Baltic Sea (where it cannot breed due to the low salinity).

Thank you! That looks a lot like what I remember seeing. I might have mixed up that area with the signs after seeing them at a different point on the same drive. It's really an incredible-looking area.

A lot of chambers and visitor's bureaus have databases of possible locations in their area, and work with directors to try to find locations. I know the Kittitas County chamber does this.
