No excuse to not perform the most minimal of civic duties, even in an increasingly disheartening world. I'm bone tired and it's hard to save the world when the little energy I have is needed for keeping a job and the necessities that come only from a job with benefits (housing, food, medical insurance). But I still voted.

My ballot is with me until either the day of or day before Election Day (today). I like filling it out close to Election Day and having it in my possession as long as I can until I drop it in a ballot box.

"No exciting referendums or initiatives on the ballot, no Governor or presidential races, and a state where many people have gotten used to the idea it doesn’t matter if they vote, democrats like Murray get auto vote back into office every time."
Maybe this is why the even-year elections initiative is on the ballot...

All of this plus those that don’t vote automatically for (d)s really really really motivated… could be the makings of some pretty big upsets out there. Would not be surprised if come Wednesday morning there are a ton of shocked faces in western Washington.
Being aa realist though, it probably won’t happen, at least in Murray’s case, but as far as Washington politics goes, really one word comes to mind… complacency.

Just apply. All they can do is say no, right?

Absolutely no excuse not to vote in WA—they make it as easy as humanly possibly without telekinesis.

These apartments are rolling scams where the “manager” throws a bunch of phony costs at you when you leave. Is was stuck at some huge apartment facility for a few months between homes and they weren’t getting a dime when I left. Obvious bullshit.

Natural you should feel penalized as the contract you signed stated that you would be for contract violation. Your landlord can not prevent your moving nor force you to pay money without taking civil action. That you "feel forced" to break a lease to take advantage of a better job opportunity rather than making a free choice to do so seems a bit distorted.

Isn’t it insane that saying Trump and his supporters are not, in fact, literal Nazis, will land you downvotes most places on Reddit? We’re so screwed.

As someone who drives from the Tacoma-area to Port Angeles on a regular basis, the posters saying it's 104 are correct. If you use this link in Street View and face towards the 101 junction, you can see the blue signs on the right side of the road. The individual signs say:
>Foresters plant
forests anew
so future generations
will have forest, too
Last sign is STATE TRUST LANDS, managed with care (DNR?)

This. This is why you read the fine print and not just instantly sign. Depending on the contract, you AGREED to pay this in this scenario
