I just saw on IG that they’re about 80% done with the lights. You can always check their website and live cameras. It’s magical but gets reallllly crowded so plan ahead for parking. Lots of stairs and steps up and down into restaurants and shops so FYI. It’s so easy to walk around and see almost all of it in a full day. Great brats, Bavarian food, brews and wine. There’s no Uber or Lyft so use the local cab company if needed. We’ll be there around the same time with toddler and dog in tow. Godspeed.

It’s probably too late for you to get a hotel at this point. They normally book out a year in advance. I would look at Cashmere or Wenatchee for lodgings.

Be prepared for a huge crowd and cold weather. Make sure your tires are in good condition and you have chains (and know how to use them). Check pass reports for Bluet and Snoqualmie pass.
