You need to reach out to the college and ask about residency requirements.

I remember "school shootings" in Seattle in the 90s being a lot worse than what it is today. Back then it was called gang violence.

Also, I’m not sure where that trailhead is in relation to where I started but the entrance of this particular trail starts directly across from the bridge.

I hadn’t thought of that before, that’s a good point. Kids getting raised by TV/video games/daycare/anything besides their parents because both parents are gone at work.

No but you can get to either hike if you follow the service road along those power lines!

No. Different start/end points, and different trails. I think WTA lists both.

What changed? Why didn’t we have all these shootings in the 70s and 80s and 90s?

Those Kevlar backpacks are expensive... I'm hoping my kids have the mental fortitude to play dead after they take that bullet hopefully in the backpack.

If you get there on the first day nothing looks like Christmas, and there's one guy sitting there next to a giant cardboard box, and he is trying to untangle the biggest string of lights you ever seen.

I think you just found the solution to prevent school shootings everywhere. “Stop bringing guns to school.” Why didn’t anyone think of this sooner???
