Vancouver would be such a nice town without people like him.

Cle Elum and Winthrop are much nicer townscapes and vibs. for a few days stay in my book. Both well located for high country access and less expensive and touristy than Leavenworth. Personal preference. Cashmere is also well located for the Wenatchee/Icicle River drainages.

Love the mist rising off the water, so surreal. What kind of wildlife sightings do you get being that close to the Olympic National Park?

I wouldn’t be traveling to Leavenworth for the Bavarian stuff - real Bavaria is closer to me. But I will be touring the Pacific Northwest next summer and was still planning to spend a few days here, as Leavenworth seems useful as a starting point for some Cascades exploration. Am I right or wrong then? Fully appreciate that there will be better spots in the Cascades, but also need something relatively central as we don’t want to spend whole days traveling to our base for a few days only. Thanks!

Nah, they believe in Individualism and that they are not connected to these instances where hate is on full display.

Yeah, they're talking about organizing some protests over in the VanWa sub-Reddit.

Is he in Vancouver? Dammit! We should paint the street outside his cult headquarters rainbow.

Thanks for your kind words. The old 1946 fruit stand across the road was fun to shoot too.

The same friend and I were fishing in the Pend Oreille River and the outboard conked out.
Nice older gent, also out on the river, towed us back.
Good times.

It's the pedestrian bridge in Wenatchee. I'm not sure what it's called.

It’s a neat little area. If work wasn’t keeping me in Stevens county I’d move to metaline or Ione. That Pend Oreille side is amazing.

That might’ve been the park. There’s a house next door with signage the residents erected, explaining it was never Kurt Cobain’s house, but helpfully explains where one can find it.
