Yes spikes were a must. There’s a path down to the lake but it was covered in 3-4ft snow

We have a home very close to there. Fun fact: Willipa bay is the second largest estuary on the United States Pacific Ocean. Also, spectacular time of year over there with the king tides happening right now.

VERY familiar with this drive. I actually know this EXACT spot. Beautiful drive though that area. Really something when the king tides come in and the entire area is underwater.

Wasn’t sure if Saturn or Jupiter was present right here. Might be mistaken, but I swear they should also be visible with Mars at this time.

Nope, just one :). Those other bright objects are stars. Jupiter and Saturn are out but not in frame. Uranus might be up at the top around Pleiades but it would be indistinguishable from the other stars.

There's several on Airbnb last I looked. If there's none close to the park then try looking around Packwood or one of the other towns nearby!
