The Worcester Ice Center has some pickup games on Sunday mornings. There might be some at the Auburn rink and the one on Lake Ave too. Take a look at the rink calendars or call the office to find out if there are non-league groups that skate.

Most of these “pick up” skates are run by one person that rents the ice instead of the rink running them.

The WIC also has stick and puck in the afternoons I think

Usually Elm Pond, but this is the first time in my life I don't remember it ever freezing over in the winter.

Stinkysocks Hockey has what amounts to organized drop-in in Northboro, Marlboro, and Natick.

At beaver Brook park there is usually pick up street hockey every Sunday morning. Really picks up into the spring and summer. There is a private group on Facebook (Worcester street hockey). Check it out, friendly and relaxed games, and wide age range.

Not the closest but the Fitchburg Civic Center has pickup on the weekends as well

Most of the "pick up hockey" at rinks requires all safety gear. So if you're looking for the old school meet on a pond with your skates and a stick... That's not happening this year.
