All depends on the type of tow, the time of day, where you are, etc.

Two weeks ago, my battery died while I was in a parking garage in downtown Boston. It only took ~30 min because they were able to send a regular service truck with a portable jumper pack instead of an actual tow truck. Had I needed a tow, they said it would've taken a lot longer.

This is the first time I have ever needed a tow. AAA sent a text saying they would lmk when a tech was coming over. Do they actually do that? I waited 2 hours in my car before I said screw it I'll wait for the text inside

So all of these responses are talking a lot about acute and major care. For regular maintenance, I really prefer Reliant to UMass for primary care and access to specialists. Been with both for years and just always felt more like Reliant did a better job communicating/making information available across the system and like I got what I needed without long waits or being jerked around.

I’m now with Brigham for everything since my health has gotten a lot more complicated and I’m not here to fuck around. If I were to get hit by a car in Worcester though, honestly, I’d be fine being brought to either.

My experience is mixed. I've had to wait hours and hours for them sometimes, and other times they show up in under 15 minutes. I think they only allow 4 tows a year, which is usually fine, but it was a problem this year.

This sounds fun!! I'll be out of town unfortunately when it occurs so have to miss it, but it would be cool to organize more themed group bike ride events around town
