There is a state limit on how much real estate taxes can go up per year so this seems fair.

Don't feel bad if you feel you're missing out. This is the city's plan for the next Kelley Square upgrade.

Agreed. I thought the lobster roll was very good but it too was overpriced.

NERB and Major League are essentially the same place, sandwiches have different names but are still the same. I’m not saying that’s a problem, I love the Richmond (NERB) and it’s great to be able to get it in Auburn too. Having said that, the best pastrami in Worcester is at Chanis.

Somewhere a traffic engineer is creaming their pants at this but I just look at it and see a fucking disaster.
Maybe it works in Europe where they teach people how to drive.

Tony's Automotive or Johnny's Auto in Grafton. Both are phenomenal and fair, everyone I've recommended to them has made them their go-to. Tony has cut down on some of the services he offers, like exhaust systems. He recommended a shop for me that did a great job, but I tend to go to Johnny's for the bigger things now.

Fuck that! Kelley square is still bad, though. Literally could not take the turn I needed last Friday, because it is a constant carousel of douchebaggery.

So now we have BTs and West Side BBQ and Black Sheep. 3 BBQ places on the west side feels kind of ridiculous. Maybe I’m missing something, but are we really eating this much BBQ?
FWIW, I miss Cafe Espresso and would have loved it if another Italian place went in there, but whatever.

Reply to Anybody else have a problem with these nitwits on Grafton Street. Is it specifically the Grafton Street store, or is it universal at all Spectrum stores? by CloroxWipes1
Ha my parents switched from AT&T to spectrum mobile. They said that I was silly to stay on AT&T. Their horror stories of going to this store make my higher bills worth it.

Webster Square Tire & Auto. They are very honest, reasonably priced, and know what they're doing. They saved me from buying a new battery and fixed the connection for free.

Reply to State lawmakers introduce bill to bring back rent control by HRJafael
Too little, too late. Rents have already spiked beyond what the labor class can afford, and they're not going back down without more radical action. I believe building out public housing would be the only way to truly get things back under control. Of course, I also don't trust our government to build anything decent nor keep it funded enough for it to not turn into a nightmare eventually.
