I mean, this is Worcester county not city of Worcester. So could be up in Westminster or down in Paxton. None of those communities could feasibly be converted to walking only.

Historically I think they did stuff on rt 20 on the line to Shrewsbury last time they did one of these. I believe they also did 140 in sterling.

That’s Goddard’s lab, and prior to that, the electromagnetic library/lab. Goddard blew up stuff in Salisbury and was relocated because of the noise and obvious hazards. It’s not accessible to the public but by some streak of luck I got a chance to see the inside as a student over 20 years ago. Just happened to meet the right people, I guess. Not much to see but I wish they’d do something with it for historical purposes. It was just a frat-style hangout for Skulls with a sofa and some junk when I saw it. It connects to some tunnels that are probably pretty rough at this point.

Roundabouts still work really well. Where I used to live in the Midwest, we had lots of them. I have zero issues getting through Kelly Square now, even when people speed through the roundabout or there's an overly cautious person in front of me.

Just let the speeders go through before you attempt, cause the point of the roundabout is to go when you have space and time. And let the cautious people take their time as again, the point of the roundabout is to go when you have space and time.

As for the hazards, that happens in all places, not just roundabouts, so to me that's a moot point.

I think your issue is with masshole drivers, not the roundabout.

Except for when it’s rush hour and people speed around it making it impossible for cars on the side streets to get into the peanut. Oh and don’t get me started on the “overly cautious” driver holding the line up because they don’t think they have enough time to go when they do. Oh and the people that park their car with hazards blocking the right lane. Honestly the list can go on and on about why that area sucks to travel. LOL
