Yeah. And OP also specifies Weekdays which complicates it. Boynton's kitchen closes an hour before they do, that much I know. Flying Rhino is similar. So I believe that's until around Midnight but only on weekends. During the week it's closer to 10-11.

Armsby Abbey also only serves food 'til 11 even on Weekends. So during the week it definitely doesn't fit the request.

Honestly I’d recommend finding a great show in Boston and/or Prov you both wanna see and going out there one night. It’s rare that anything comes through Worcester that’s solid. I checked the Palladium’s schedule and there isn’t anything notable besides Morbid Angel (death metal)

Outside of music specifically, I’d say taking her to Free Play and Ralph’s would be a good time. Free Play because it’s kinda impossible to not have fun there, and Ralph’s because it has more character than literally any bar in New England

Post-covid Worcester is kinda weird honestly. Most small communities that were doing cool shit kinda dried up. On weekends I used to be able to find a cool warehouse show with actual sick bands, go to parties at practice spaces, make weird films and art with people in those communities. Now that culture hardly exists, and the art that ends up coming out is much less inspired because of it

Here's how to find this yourself: Google Maps, "restaurants in Worcester" and then search near the time you want - which is now since it's quarter of 11pm.

What I found is still open on a Thursday until at least 11pm: Bonyton, Mercantile, Flying Rhino Cafe, Armsby Abbey, Bocado, Boardroom, Quinn's Irish Pub, and of course a bunch of fast food places.

Great recs! I'd just like to add that Boston, Providence, and Pioneer Valley all have some great options and aren't a bad drive for a show. Although I haven't really kept up with live music since Covid, so I'm not entirely sure what's still good these days.

I personally use Bandsintown to find my shows. It's great, lets you import all your followed artists on your other apps and makes recommendations based on them. Or you can search everything within your set radius.

Edit: The Jesus Christ Superstar revival is coming to the Hanover at the end of April. You did say all types of music, u/dandylion1313.

Lock 50, Deadhorse Hill, Altea. I just tried Blackstone for dinner - really good. That bodes well for brunch. Lock 50 takes reservations. For the others you may need to wait.

First check out who’s playing at Ralph’s, Vincents, Steel & Wire, and Electric Haze. Also, The White Room is a wonderful event space/art gallery and the couple who run it have just started a community series on Sunday nights that’s going to be a variety of programming. Follow them on IG to keep tabs on what’s coming up.

You said it yourself. You had a bad experience because you were not exposed to the best supports, and you had an extenuating situation of your own family basically sabotaging you. Don't get me wrong.. the issue here is way beyond you yourself.. I'm not saying you're somehow damaged goods.. but the advice you give is very jaded and is over-compensating sharply in what is now generally considered the wrong direction. Is every program great? No, of course not. But telling someone to shun all of the orgs out there and just go with homeschooling and social isolation and hope that society as a whole suddenly just changes direction to accommodate those with ASD is incredibly short sighted. It's a two way street. Society DOES need to better accommodate ASD and actually all types of differences in general.. but those with ASD should also be assisted to better acclimate to the society in which we all live.
