It's not so much the dusting of snow as it was the icy slush on the main road when I woke up. That and the continued possibility of freezing rain for the rest of the day, especially around my evening commute. Sometimes taking a pajama day is exactly what personal days are for. Sorry if that doesn't make me look tough on the internet.

Also, I just like to make these posts here so the community knows what they're dealing with.

I can't give any more advice than what's been given, except to say that you may not totally "click" with whatever person you work with first, and that is totally okay. I had one lady who was the nicest ever, and she did a great job on my hair, but it wasn't totally what I wanted, more what she thought I should want, and it just didn't work for me. I moved to another stylist who listened and I adored her until I moved. She also knew when to tell me "no" on certain things, which is important too (I have a penchant for getting bangs and then complaining forever about them so she refused after like the 3rd time to ever give me bangs again lol).

Maybe plan to go in this time with just a "cut and clean up" and see how you feel. Let the stylist sort of suggest a few things, to compliment your face shape and hair type and how much work you want to put into styling it. For example, I once asked for a specific cut and she told me "I can do that, but with your hair, it's going to need a lot of maintenance and styling time to do up correctly every day" so I walked away from that, kwim?

Again, your 1 pizza place anecdotal experience means nothing among the thousands. Your comment is useless.

"This is more common than thought"

"It never happened to me"

"Thanks for sharing little Jimmy go back to your corner and keep eating paste"

Because in a family where we’ve probably made hundreds of thousands of pizzas over the years, it’s never been a problem - so get better pizza. Apparently you don’t understand the difference between running restaurants and having the saddest frozen pizza dinner by yourself.

It’s not rocket appliances.

Every time this person posts it devolves into a desperate attempt to prove how much smarter they are than everyone else. Leftists, feminists, people who got the COVID vaccine, their electric company...it's honestly kind of fascinating. I've never seen someone JAQ themselves off this hard.

I'll be honest, I do not believe they're trolling, I've seen their post history...they're just like this.

I mean, it's not located anywhere near any of the local diners. Its primary competition was Denny's. Compared to Denny's it was higher quality, but apparently not enough to justify higher prices.

And while local diners have superior food, sometimes people want that general category of food with groups larger than 4 people, and real diners aren't particularly suited to that.
