I just drove down Brattle from Holden. The road is completely clear on the Holden side, but when u pass into Worcester they become horrible. They look like they haven’t been treated at all.

Based on some of the things I've seen on Park Avenue, I don't think anybody would bat an eye if you cruised up and down that street. Last fall I saw some dude cruising in and out of traffic on a motorized unicycle.

ya my neighbor must be thrilled that he parked in a city lot and took a cab home only to find that no one was towed or even ticketed.
not one plow, either. the dpw is hot trash.

2:30pm - Just got back. Major streets are clear, secondary streets are safe but do have some slush/ice around. Some neighborhood streets are still white all the way across.

Like two years ago, When I was at the Linders junkyard in Worcester, playing with some cars, next door was a big open field with dirt mounds I saw some kids riding dirt bikes on. Idk if it’s public or private or anything about it but maybe google earth around the area or call Linders junkyard themselves and ask if they know anything about their neighbor sorry that’s all I’ve got.

Exactly. You can't make judgements on behalf of other people based on your own lived experiences.
I was raped as a child but I don't fear all men. It wasn't all men that did that to me, just one man. But, I know some women who judge all men (or all women if it was a woman who raped them) based on the one person. I know men and women who've been raped that cannot move past it mentally and will have highly emotional reactions in certain situations.
This is the same for many traumas. If you let the trauma run your life, you will never be able to move past it and run your own life. Read Man's Search for Meaning sometime. It's very eye opening on how some people were hollow shells of themselves after the Holocaust and how some were still able to live fulfilling lives despite the atrocities they were put through. It's extremely emotional at times, just as a warning, but it is an amazing example of how you can persevere.

Thanks, I had a feeling that would be the case with Rutland. I was going to stake it out first but given its popularity figured EP would be there. 508 seems to be my only real option, Freetown is further than I was hoping to go. Guess imma just have to buy my own land somewhere.. lol

The rangers patrol the Rutland State Forest pretty regularly. You will get caught.
You can try 508 International in Charlton. I know they have all kinds of trails and terrain build ups.
Freetown State Forest has sanctioned trails you can use, I think you might need to register for a pass to utilize them.
You can also try to find a secluded power line trail, but that is going to carry some risk of getting caught and more and more of them are being gated off.

For you, but as a woman, I too fear being in spaces with all men. I’ve had bad lived experiences, but you may have not had, that affect my decisions today. Not everybody has had your life or your experiences, and view the world differently.

We have no association with the organization! Simply trying to raise money for good and the love of animals. We’ve been thinking about putting it towards local shelters instead

Luckily, we're not known for our hills or anything.

Left around 9 this morning, definitely sloppy but not too slippery. No idea where the fucking plows are, this should be a easily manageable bit of weather.

That’s not a strong argument because for popeyes there’s already a KFC, a Spanish restaurant selling chicken, dennys, wendys, mcdonalds, crown fried chicken down the street, and Chick-fil-A within 5 minutes of driving down a longer street. There also a Texas Roadhouse in the plaza. Chicken and burgers is pretty much equal.
It would be cool to get a Sonics though, since their menu has some specific items you usually can’t get anywhere like the hotdogs and soft pretzels.

Some people hate women, some people hate men, some people hate certain religions, some people hate [fill in the blank]. I see all sorts of hate in the news almost daily. To live a life focusing on the fact some people hate [fill in the blank] is a life not fully lived.

I was driving around at about 7:30a and it was pretty shocking how bad the side roads are, they dont look like they were plowed once. Crossing over into Holden all of a sudden every road is plowed and sanded.
