Had a hunk fly off and smash my windshield on 95 near Kennebunk a few years ago. Almost push it right in. Some how didn’t crash and was able to navigate off to the rest stop. People think it’s nothing but you can legit kill someone.

I was honestly blown away when I found out MA doesn’t have a specific statewide law against this. Other than the Mass Pike, the most they can get you for is a minor violation for an unsecured load, and that’s if they even feel like enforcing it. Really? Even New Hampshire has Jessica’s Law because someone literally died from an accident. Do we have to wait until someone here dies to make a law named after them? Sheesh, you’d think with all the questionable bans this state is so gung-ho about pursuing, something this basic would be one of them?

From the telegram article - I don’t think mentioned on masslive

“Michael's Cigar Bar was brought to the License Commission on violations of nonemployees being present on the property after closing hours, for the business assuming responsibility for illegal activity on the property and for not adequately notifying and assisting first responders if people suffered injury in the establishment.”

Hey there Andrew, welcome to Worcester and congrats on coming out!

This is not the first time I've plugged this, so I hope people won't be too annoyed at me: if you're into crafts at all, at Technocopia (makerspace in downtown Worcester), we have an open craft night every Thursday night starting at 7, and there are a few awesome trans/queer folks who are a core part of our regular group. Maybe not what you're looking for, but it's a good place to meet people, so I figured I'd throw it out there. And the second Thursday of the month, we always have a pre-planned craft available in case you don't know what to work on!

On a similar note, I know Creative Hub Worcester also recently started hosting a Queer Craft Night on the first Thursday of the month downtown.

Here's a link for that: https://m.facebook.com/events/751932783010937/?ref_source=newsfeed&ref_mechanism=feed_attachment&action_context=%257B%2522action_history%2522%253A%2522null%2522%257D

not everyone is going to clean off their cars. sometimes you have a tall van with ladder racks. impossible to get it all off. This is the reason I dont take highways on days like this.

In Massachusetts the only safe place is on private property. Find someone with some acreage and ask their permission.

Hi Andrew, my partner (Ftm) and I (nb- she/they) are both 30, and have a group of friends in the community in the age group as well, but we all have nervous and panic conditions and all use marijuana to manage these. I know you don't vibe with that so that's fine, but if you ever change your stance, hit us up :) It's never pushed, only offered out of politeness because sharing is caring and we vape and use edibles so no skunk smell. I was anti-drugs upon leaving my religious and life-choking home life too, not understanding that the people using them are just trying to cope with things too. No pressure, just, if your stance changes at any point, we'd love to hear from you. We play Nintendo, PS4, d&d, have been in online roleplay communities for game of thrones, Harry Potter, etc., and tons more.
