this might be hard to believe but not all conversations are between and about people of the non-trans variety, and it might be occasionally useful to have a special word or prefix to refer to them. crazy!

There's not a good solution for clearing the roof of a trailer. It's 13 and 1/2 feet off the ground and 8 and 1/2 feet wide and fiberglass on top so if you climbed up there you couldn't stand on it. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a way because I've seen all the snow cleared off a trailer when it went under an overpass and it's dramatic and could easily cause a multi-car crash. Just saying someone smarter than me would have to engineer a means to do it.

Same reason we have terms for heterosexual, white, or right-handed. Just because something is the majority, even if you think of it as the default, that doesn't mean you shouldn't have a term for it.
