Buy winter clothing when you get here. About a month after the fall semester starts, Walmart will have a bunch of winter clothes. So will Target and other stores so you’ll have options. It’s so much easier to buy things in store when you get here.

I am an undergrad near WPI and I love having a car. To my knowledge, transportation on the bus is free but idk how many bus stops are around or if there’s one close to WPI. Having a car would make things a little easier but it’s not a necessity, especially since you aren’t from the US.

Most central MA Walmarts don't allow overnight parking now. So I'd highly advise looking for any signs that may so no overnight parking.. I actually got woken up in the middle of the night once by a cop who asked me to move across the street to the truck stop. This was the leominster Walmart, I was in a U-Haul moving. There was only one sign posted...

But I've seen no overnight parking at almost every Walmart I go to now. You're better off finding a truck stop to park at, not only is it much safer(sort of), you also have amenities available. Plus less likely to have people screw with you or cops.

Pretty sure you can do this in most Walmart parking lots. Not the most scenic, but free. There's one in West Boylston; I suggest calling to see if they allow it and where in the lot to park.

I'm not going to fucking argue with you, dude.

Yes, the term Latinx means jack shit to a lot of Spanish speakers. There's also plenty of young Spanish speakers who prefer Latinx to latino/latina. You are welcome to disagree with them, but you don't have the right to tell them it's 'not a real word.' That's not how fucking words work.

It is noble of you to want to give people the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately there are very evil, conniving people out there.

These people target anyone who is naive and willing to give them a chance to be friends. They have nothing but time on their hands to be nice to you, have benign conversations , all the while keeping notes on everything you say, reading your other posts, finding clues as to where you live or go to school.

Please be careful and find a safer way to make friends. Have you spoken to your parents about being on Reddit? I am guessing they too would be concerned It is a scary world out there.
