Sure it is an old industrial city with closed up industries. You can find a nice neighborhood in or around Southbridge. One thing is this location is about as central to the rest of New England as you could want; I-84 and I-90 go thru town and gets you east and west, I-84 gets you south and west. I-91 is a short drive up I-90 to Springfield for north bound travel.

I do a subscription box once a month there, and everything is great. I love that you can edit the box so easily too.

If you're looking for something that's harder to find like a good lamb shank, duck leg quarters, etc. they are also worth checking out. They've been especially clutch for me now that Leroux's is gone.

Yeah, I'm sure there are exceptions when the workers are simply being inconsiderate and do things that are out of line. But, accounting both for safety and the fact that they have a ton of ground to cover and need to work their asses off, this is one of the few things about our overall terrible trash system that doesn't upset me. If they need to leave the truck in a certain spot to maximize their efficiency and/or safety, I'm okay with that.

The initial issues was when I was trying to set up a time to tour and to confirm a space for him with their reopening. Once in, it's been fantastic. My only concern is that they have a low threshold to close with snow. They close almost as often as the public schools do.

It’s a shit hole. There’s two decent areas in the whole town and they’re far away from the “center”

Schools are bad. Hospitals are bad. If you have to commute to work, good luck hope you like traffic 😂

No, none at all. It took some time to get in. I was lucky I toured right before covid hit, they got shut down, then we were able to start when daycare was allowed to reopen. They've been great. They are incredibly clean, well organized, clear age appropriate curriculum, really great staff. Several of my coworkers also have started using it and they love it too. I think that there's definitely a wait and probably several openings will be there in the fall when the oldest kids transition to kindergarten, and in June when they move into their summer program.

Metro Bistrot is a solid French restaurant. Fins and Tails is a good restaurant. I wish the Burrito Hut would re-open. Schools are under the direction of the state last I checked. I have never felt unsafe there.

That makes sense.

But this one time I turned onto a dead end where there were cars already waiting on both sides of the truck (blocked in by cars parked on both sides of the street- but he could’ve moved up a bit) to get by, this truck driver most definitely saw these cars waiting. When he pulled up he did so a little and still made us all wait. Im not even exaggerating when I say I was there for no less than 5 minutes sitting waiting for him to move. Normally I would’ve been a little more patient but I was on my way to drop a DoorDash order off and we’re timed (which messes with our ratings). It also seems like this only happens to me when I have to be places like the school bus stop in the morning. lol

If your kid/s have attended children's nest have you had any communication issues as a parent once your kid started? I've had major communication issues with the owner just trying to coordinate a tour and get basic information. We've toured and are on the wait-list but I've just about given up on following up even though it would save me 40 mins of commuting a day.
