Fight on brother. How long would you say it took for you to feel ready, from start of prep to scheduling and passing your exam?

What's so bad about the layout? I usually go to Hudson or Leominster which are both pretty solid.

Do they offer real eggs and cheese, or only vegan options?
I don’t mind impossible meats, but I need real cheese.

I would check on him now and again. Good for you for checking on him! I don't trust people that lie about stuff with their animals.

You are amazing! I never know how to approach situations like these, but you seem to have done it with a level head, I’m glad you kept your cool.
It’s funny he says that it was only one night, I have a video of it from Thursday night, around 10 PM I even filmed the “shelter” they had made for him. I’m going to start taking a video every night. I live within earshot of the building and can confirm it was for sure out there at 12:00 AM this morning, and I woke up and saw it again at 7:00 AM, prior to them opening.
Another sad part of it, is during the week the property adjacent is an active construction site. The dog is sometimes 5-10 feet away from heavy machinery, and just your average loud construction noises. It’s gotta be terrifying for the poor thing. The group of kids I spoke to on Thursday told me they first noticed the dog about a month ago, but never had seen it outside over night.

Parking lot always makes it look more full than it actually is.
I usually go weekdays around 4 after work, as it’s on my way home, and it’s never too bad.
I’m usually able to get what I need and get out pretty quickly, granted I’m a single man in his 20’s picking up a handful of things, so YMMV.

I’ve been at different times a day since they’ve opened and it’s alwaysssss a zoo but my grocery bill is like 30% cheaper than everywhere else so it’s a trade off

Crackheads live in that area, I lived there for 1 year on Hancock. Do not walk at night.

They always have lanes open and I rarely need to wait more than a few minutes to see a cashier. The only real complaint I have about them is that the bagging is generally poor, unlike most Market Baskets I've been to. I'm sure that will improve with time. Suffering a few more people in the shop is worth it to not have to deal with Shaw's/Price Chopper.

So I'm outside. I initially didn't see the dog and went in. I asked the owner if they had a dog, and the owner asked why. I asked if they were leaving the dog outside over night. He stated he had not. I explained multiple neighbors are concerned about the dog and have seen it outside in the rain without food. He admitted he left it out one night with food. I told him a neighbor had already spoken with the police and his community was keeping track of if he is caring for the dog and that leaving it outside overnight was unacceptable and his neighbors would be monitoring. I left before I got heated. The dog was outside next to the building when I went out and it looked ok. They quickly opened the side door and let the dog in. It did look chonky. The area is surrounded by chain link fence with cameras.
I'll swing back tonight and see if they left it out. I get real upset about shit like this. Thanks for looking out for the pupper.

I've been there on a weekday evening (around 7pm) and I didn't think it was bad. Still busy, but less busy than the Oxford one that time of day. The layout was tough to figure out though.

I go around 8pm on a weeknight and it’s very reasonable. They close at 9 so I make sure to have a list and stay focused to get in and out by closing.

Can you take it to a shelter? The people who own that dog don't want if they've left it outside for days with cardboard. They've abandoned the dog to fend for himself.

This is how literally every Market Basket is set up and we are all managing fine at all the others.
