It will not be the same. The Higgins Armory Museum was a huge loss for the city. A lot of the armor was sold off. Plus the atmosphere of the original museum gave it a lot of character. It is a shame that a college did not purchase the collection and keep it going. It was not a lot of money. Yes they will have a few suits of armor a couple of swords but that is all.

Sprint Lube on Millbury Street is usually pretty quick and they don’t do a lot of upselling. There’s been times I am able to drive right in or just a short wait.

Tried Fullers but they tried to upsell the crap out of me with my last truck, even when I told them I only wanted an oil change. Got a whole laundry list of repairs they proposed.

Just want to point out the line in the article about how "important it is and how big it is for not just our residents but our businesses."

Worcester has become so car-dependent and I see these cool businesses pop up from time to time and then fail and need to close down, usually because they have no dedicated and plentiful parking, only on-street parking or expensive parking garages/lots nearby. And everyone I talk to these days just complains about the traffic and there is NOWHERE to park or parking has become so expensive, so people don't want to make the effort to venture out and give their money to the businesses here.

I would love to see in addition to the continued free fare is frequent buses on all routes, better sidewalks to be able to safely walk to and from the stops, benches at every dedicated bus stop, and an effort to destigmatize public transit so that it's not seen as something just for people of a certain income level but something that literally everyone and every business can benefit from.

TLDR; literally the entire Worcester economy would improve if the overall infrastructure for public transit was higher quality and used by way more people. /endofsoapboxrant

Yeah, probably. I guess those 20 somethings I was standing next to today at the Saint Patrick’s parade who were 3 sheets to the wind are a dying breed lol. I figured at least with legal weed now we’d have more people up late with the munchies ordering out. I guess cooking at home is more of a trend with the next generation?

I was looking for Midnight Munchies lol. GPS said it was on Millbury street but it wasn’t there anymore, then we did a Google search and somewhere said it was at southwest cutoff. So we went there and didn’t see anything open but Parrot Pizza. Walked in and asked where Midnight Munchies was and the guy said “this is it, it’s the same place but we’re closing.” I was like WTF lol.
