Worcester went down the path of Detroit, but it's getting better.

My mom tricked me once. Said we were going to Spag’s, ended up at Edgemere Drive-In. It was a magical night. I don’t remember the movie, but I just remember the prank.

I always try places twice before giving up. I’ll wait and see if they get better.
But everything was under seasoned/bland, and tasted like the lowest quality of prepared Sysco brand foods.

We talking about a different Worcester? This city has improved leaps and bounds since the 90s

I think you've got your answer. Overhyped , mediocre food whose owner isn't liked.

I worked there briefly in the late 80's as a cashier. I'll always regret not exploring more of the non-public areas of the complex. It's sad that all that remains of the place now is a tiny bronze plaque, given how huge that store was in the culture of the area. Something of a town square. You just never knew what long lost friend you were going to bump into while shopping there.

Someone downpost commented that they saw the whole restaurant ogle a teenage girl. That’s enough to lose my appetite for crab Rangoon with more bread around it. Oh wait….

It’s 100% fad food. The social media trend of making absurd meals for views rather than considering what it might actually taste like.

It’s overpriced for a mid tier steak and cheese

What a man! He gave a lot to the town. He sent catering to every funeral in town for many years. Donated land.

Best steak and cheese I’ve ever had. Made it extra spicy if we were up for it. Gained a few pounds after binging weekly on those. Wherever you are Chris, I need that recipe!

My grandparents would come from Woonsocket to go there- and then come visit us. I think Spags was more the reason for the trips.

I used to work in that building when it housed Commonwealth Medicine, the public policy consulting arm of UMass Med School.

No sir their sandwiches are just mediocre. I can get a better steak sandwich for my money at pickle barrel or central pizza or like 10 other places in like a 2 mile radius from Ziggy bombs.

I had fantastic luck a few times with sclamos ! I used to send Weber grills to family members for gifts like Xmas and father day, and always had great luck, they were assembled and ready to cook!! Someone once gave me a gift certificate to Home Depot and I got a grill for my place at the cape and it was assembled wrong! Total pain dealing with the big dealers! I really liked my experience at Sclamos!
