No? Show me where I said that.

> Some do. There are several mobile mechanics in the Worcester area.

You seemed to complete deny the existence of mobile mechanics while at least two people are here saying they exist.

They exist and literally "bringing their tools and shit to you" is the entire business model.

I acknowledged I don't know any small engine mobile mechanics around here, but OP stated they existed in other places they've lived.

Sorry you're having such a hard time with this, though.

There's always kids there and the crowd looks after its own and self-polices. That said, alcohol is served and sometimes someone has a few too many. I've been going to shows for that company for seven years and have seen three people total get tossed for being belligerent or unruly. It's a safe place and a good place.

The venue is up a large staircase with no elevator because it's a super old building so I hope that's not a problem.

Even if they could run from Springfield straight to Boston they would still have the ridiculously slow zones, like Framingham center, where the speed limit is a major factor in route time. It will never be as efficient as true high speed rail, which is unlikely to ever happen given that the existing rail can’t be moved away from those high density zones. At a minimum they would need to implement solutions like they did with the Acela grade level crossings and install more fencing along many miles of track.

To summarize; Polar Park was built to mimic Fenway, including its flaws. (Because if it worked in 1912 it must work now, amiright?)

But its NOT exactly the same, see the best quote I've read in a while.

“We’re actually taller than they are at Fenway. We’re 12 feet 1 inches and Fenway’s 12 feet,” Malone said.

West End Creamery is just a nice ice cream place most of the time, but during fall weekends there’s a real nice fall festival. Haven’t been this year, but last year it was $18 for anyone over 3 feet tall. And they were kinda scummy and charged my 3 year old who was actually around 34 inches full price. It was annoying at the time, but I’m sure the high school age kids working the gate didn’t mean any harm and try to scam me out of money. I’d still recommend it over Davis Farmland.

I’m sure Polar Park would love the money concerts would bring, not really their fault there’s much better options, especially with the Palladium having more of an outdoor presence.

Why do Polar Park when you can do Palladium, Palladium Outdoors, DCU Center, or one of the 20 venues in/around Boston, or the Tsongas Center, or the Xfinity Center.

Not worth it at all, I’m not sure how they get away with it. Combination of good marketing and probably used to be cheap so people have good memories of it. But it’s crazy for a family of four to pay $100+ to see some animals and go in a maze. Especially with a lot of other places closer to Worcester. Stowe Farm as I previously mentioned is $3 a person. West End Creamery in Northbridge right off 146 is $18 a person and pretty fun. Tougas in Northborough is even free entry and then pretty pricey if you wanna pick apples or something.

But the “farm family fun” experience can be had for a lot cheaper and better than Davis Farmland.

I suspect the east-west rail concept is being hyped to further raise real estate values. All the powers that be can't even keep the T running properly, I can't imagine how any agency will manage to reconstruct rail lines for high-speed service and then keep that service running reliably. At least within the next 10 years.
