No I don’t. And you’re lying if you say you do. You may see people walking, but you’re only speculating on their destination.
> What’s wrong with you? Why are you against a project rhat helps people? This is a great idea.
Nothing’s wrong with me. I’m not against this project per se, but it’s far from proven that is either will help people or is a great idea. That’s just your opinion. I’m against wasting money on a potential boondoggle without proper study, of which one hasn’t been conducted.
> Just because you don’t want to use it doesn’t mean everyone thjnsn the same. Under the right circumstances I would use it.
Who says I wouldn’t want to use it? I just don’t want to pay for it without knowing what we are paying for.

Which is why your opinion is meaningless and should be ignored. We shouldn’t spend millions on frivolous “wants” based upon such evidence.

Getting the house you want when the opportunity presents itself may mean you have to suck it up for a while. So you can’t afford that 86 inch TV right now? Aww, too bad.

Origin Coffee Lab and Kitchen, in Pentagon Row. Solid iced latte. Well, it’s still in a liquid state, but you know what I mean.

What does patience have to do with being house poor? Patient or impatient I think it’s better to spend money on other things besides housing.

My evidence is anecdotal. I have walked to the air port before to rent a car. I have wanted to walk to the airport when I worked in crystal city. I’ve never taken a business trip in my life. If I’m flying chances are it’s to go see family. I always work rhe same day before hoping on a ✈️

Why are you counting? There are pedestrians in Arlington. Just because you drive everywhere doesn’t mean everyone else does. You see people walking to the airport all the time .

And you have evidence that? You’ve seen any studies? And what is “enough”? How many people per day? Per hour?

East West Coffee is good. Tatte's is good but hard to get seating because it is always crowded.
Rako's Coffee Roasters is okay but tiny.

I have walked to ehe airport. It wasn’t great. A new bridge will be helpful.

That’s not what the person meant. They had it right and you misread it. Also flight attendants do stay at nearby hotels.
Enough people will use it.

Workers in crystal city. I worked in crystal city. It’s time for me to catch mg Christmas Eve flight home. I always work until it’s time for me to board Mh flight whenever I travel home. I was so worried about how I would get to the airport safely. A pedestrian walkway was just what I needed. Fortunately a coworker took pity and gave me a ride.
This doesn’t effect you and it helps pedestrians. Why be against it?

I don’t pay anywhere near $2000. I live in a basement unit. Basements off craifslisd and Facebook. That’s how I’ve found every place I’ve lived since 2008.

To me that’s house poor. I would rather have a less glamorous address with the 86 inch tv and nice furniture than the well to do address and no furniture.
That’s my life now. I could afford a more expensive nicer place but then I’m spending all my income on housing. That’s just not how I want to live. No one should have to live like that but many in this super pricy county do just that.
I could probably afford $2000 a month but I ain’t paying that. My address isn’t fancy and my basement is shabby chic at best. I like north Arlington but it ain’t the be all end all. South Arlington is a nice alternative. That’s all.
