Isn't it funny that "stop that till we know exactly how much harm it does" is never really pursued as a policy option
More research is needed! the scientists cry as the entrepreneurs do whatever they like
And of course when what they are doing is proven deadly & regulated out of feasibility, they will have new unproven methods to turn to

Reply to Why can’t you “un-blur” a blurred image? by so-gold
it depends on how it is blurred. if they used the same procedure for every pixel, it can be reversed, it is even possible to write a program that finds out, how it is blurred.
but if you tell the program to use a random seed (0-5 for example, every time it blurrs one pixel, this new pixel has got a different base.

No sources...
Also, there's considerations here to be made about what is going up. It's not just generic particulate matter, but more exotic materials in the upper atmosphere. There's simply no precedence for what that might do.

Yes, and it comes with a number of side effects (ofc the alternative is death, so they do it anyway)

Reply to comment by gsohyeah in What does it mean for light to be an excitation in the electromagnetic field? by Ethan-Wakefield
It is irresponsible how incorrect this explanation of physics is. Rotating a magnet does not simply create EM waves. The changing magnetic field from the rotating magnet is not the same oscillating magnetic field induced by a photon.
Photons are not simply ripples that propagate outwards from some disturbance of a field.

Strep throat is a great example. Group A streptococcus causes -
Strep throat
Scarlet Fever
Impetigo
Necrotizing Fasciitis
Cellulitis
Streptococcal Toxic Shock
Rheumatic Fever
Glomerulonephritis
There's even Pediatric Auto-immune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcus (PANDAS) which suggests anorexia may be caused by a strep A infection

It’s “ether theory” that works. We adopt or discard models of the universe based on whether they make accurate predictions, and the ether theory of light didn’t.
