What im hearing is "if we use it just right, like we do with botox, we can get a super drug to treat social anxiety."

Rabies doesn't cause biting, per say. It causes increased levels of aggression, which translates to biting for most animals.
This is part of the reason why human to human transmission is so rare. When humans fight we rarely bite, so even if a person does get infected they're unlikely to spread the virus by biting.

I learned of this recently and have tried dozens of times in different locations. No matter which I eye close and which method I use, the thing I'm looking at appears to move. I always assumed this was true for everyone, not having heard of dominant eyes before a few weeks ago.

...no reason other than that the behavior in the video matches known symptoms of rabies in humans
rabies swells your throat, making swallowing anything painful, and that manifests in a fear of drinking; even someone with rabies knows what a cup of water is
if it's a fake, it is a very realistic fake

There is no reason to believe that rabies video is authentic. The internet..

Reply to Could a black hole just be a big neutron star that just has gravity so high light cant escape? by SlyusHwanus
To take a somewhat less abstract approach to this than those mentioned so far, an object like a neutron star needs some repulsive force to counteract gravity and prevent further collapse, and that force must be conveyed by particles that cannot exceed light speed. If no light or other particle can move outwards, no force can be conveyed, and there's nothing stopping the mass from collapsing eternally inwards.

That emission comes out of their heat and angular energy; they'll slow, cool, and dim long before that point.

Reply to How do astronauts deal with periods in ISS? by LorDzkill
The space agency provides female astronauts with a personal hygiene kit that includes items like menstrual pads, wipes, and a special kind of underwear designed for use in space. The kit also includes instructions on how to use these items in microgravity.

(Furious) rabies causes intense and painful spasms of the larynx when the victim attempts to drink, or really attempt to swallow anything.

Wait, but Neutron Star, proton decay or not, losses mass anyway, every second, because all the emitted EM equals loss of mass/energy. I'm pretty sure it would lose a sizeable chunk by 10^38, or by the time it cools down (if ever)
