Because idiots on this site hate pitbulls. And the only facts they can seem to come up with for their hate come from incredibly biased or misreported sources, which is sad and amusing.

Me too! She has the best expressions and is so loving! She smiles too! (looks like she's growling as she's bearing teeth, but it's actually a smile, she is so gentle and never aggressive)

That's because pitbulls and other guard breeds attack without warning whereas other dogs growl or bare their teeth first.

Afaik Pitbulls are a group largely negatively impacted by incorrect stereotypes. American pitbull terriers and American Staffordshire terriers (pitbulls) are strong, confident, loyal, and eager to please. They are known as great companion dogs and typically do well with children. According to the United Kennel Club and American Kennel Club, they will show some dog aggression if not appropriately socialized, but aggressive behavior towards humans is uncharacteristic. In other words, it usually isn't the dog, it's the owner.

Because they have a much higher rate of attacking people although that statistic is highly flawed
