Just have to make sure your exposure is set! This was 1/1000 of a second at F2.8 and ISO 400.

I grew up in a small, ranch house that didn't have ducts for the heating system in the crawlspace... The furnace just pushed the hot air down into the crawlspace and it would come up through vents in the floor. And so would the centipedes. I hated them.
