The kookaburra is native to Eatatern Australia, so (if your username is referencing where you're from) you probably didn't see kookaburras. They are in the kingfisher family though, so it's likely you saw some other species of kingfisher.

Looks like a pic from picture day at school! Where the the photographer tells you to smile, but for some reason you have to think about how your supposed to smile. So you end up making that face.

It is preferable if there is no touching though, even a small amount might possibly damage the slime coat a bit

I googled "touch axolotl" and the internet says you can touch them, but long term touching is no good. This video is probably fine.
