That's right. I just remember being asked if I was going to work and laughing them off the phone

Yeah it’s gonna get bad fast. My daughter was planning on heading north to family in PA tomorrow, but in light of the weather they’re leaving tonight so they’ll be there before I gets bad in either place. I’ll be heading out myself, but not until Saturday morning, after the worst is through and the crews can get to the roads a bit

Folks can’t drive on 695 when it’s sunny and warm. They don’t need the extra challenge of snow and ice, hard pass

It's cheap and not impressive as a gift, but the Evergreen Mansion is really cool. Could couple that with dinner at Heritage Smokehouse FTW.

This our first winter in Baltimore and we had planned on driving out of town tomorrow after work. Definitely not doing that now. Not worth the risk.

Tour of the Guinness factory, b and o railroad museum. I like BMA and lunch at Gertrude’s after. Sometimes BMA has artist talks and lectures.

I've always hated snow, but after getting stuck in the 95 shutdown in Virginia last year for 28 hours, I'd be happy to never see a single snowflake again.

If the businesses want to pay for them by all means. I'd just say if you take a stroll down Broadway anytime between now and April you're going to see nothing but empty parklets where parking spaces used to be.

That’s Rock Carter and he’s an amazing photographer. The best at lighting without all the crazy photoshop so really just makes you look your best

And while you’re staying safely at home, don’t forget to turn your taps on to a very thin trickle! If you have exposed pipes in an unheated area, keeping a space heater by them is not a bad idea either. And opening sink cabinets that are adjacent to exterior walls to let warmed air circulate around them. Single-digit degrees are no joke.
