dam man.. thinking of all the poor stray animals out there especially tomorrow when it drops to around the 10's. as someone who has a cat whenever winter comes around there's this sort of extra depression that kicks in cause ya can't help but feel down about so many stray animals out there especially kittens/cats. or just animals in general.

You could do a walk through of the Baltimore zoo lights, then hit up some food/drinks nearby like Birroteca, or other spots in Hampden. Hampden has some great choices like Wicked Sisters, The Food Market, Fraziers, Holy Frijoles, Five & Dime — they’re all very different, so check out their menus first to pick something that suits you.

On second thought, Hampden has 34th street lights and it’s free! No need for the zoo.

A lot of these suggestions are not good first date ideas. Keep it simple. Drinks at a bar. Somewhere low-key where you can enjoy each other's company.

If it works out then you can continue your night with dinner or plan a future outing. If it doesn't then you can get the check and bounce.

But don't trap you and your date with something elaborate or extravagant for a first date!

I feel like this one really depends on what you two are interested in. Definitely wouldn't ever recommend top golf unless you both really love golf and don't mind the prices.

Museums are always a great option, plenty around here. If they're new to the area then maybe even the aquarium.

Bars are always an easy option, lots of great choices.

The Christmas market downtown is a fun option while it's still around if you can brave the cold.

I’d already forgotten that hellscape. So many crises since then, so many more ahead. But that really happened. Crazy. Awful. Gives me the shivers just thinking what that would have been like…for the very young, the old, those traveling alone, those traveling with people they despise (you know it happened). Congratulations for keeping your sanity, Old Bay!

The rightmost lane of a street is not only used for parking cars, but sometimes for driving, or biking, or walking, or athletic events, or parades, or block parties, or enabling construction access. If the restaurant has a (semi)permanent installation blocking other uses of that part of the public road, they have privatized a public asset and should pay to lease the space. Not sure why this would be controversial.

I had the same problem recently, Medstar refused to keep refilling my script. They referred me to a place where they wanted blood work/drug test and monthly appointments but I don't really need a whole psychiatry thing I've been on these meds for years and I'm doing just fine.

Went to Centered Counseling Services in Towson and they were great. It's a LNP, they do telehealth appointments and they didn't give me a fuss about it. My wife also goes there and they're very nice and easy to work with.
