A lot of others have suggested ovenbird, and for loaves I think that's an awesome recommendation. Great english muffins there too.
For croissants Maillard and Bramble are tops.

If you're up for some cold weather, the Polish American Club in Fells Point carols through the streets each Dec 23rd. It starts at 7pm and is a wonderful time - I don't think going solo, as you'll find a group to join up with. Address is 512 S Broadway.

Cafe Poupon is there sister store, and has much nicer service. More bread focused I believed, vs more pastry focused.

It's all relative.
And yeah, you were flexing. Now, move the fuck along.

hey,. why don't you and OP meet somewhere for supper. Central Bar in Mount Vernon has been open past Christmases, and I imagine they still are. even if you end up not liking each other, it's still an experience.

Hey dumbass, its not a flex its just that saying that baltimore has the same cost of living problems as san jose is just completely incorrect. I don't think baltimore is the greatest place on the planet, it's just a relatively affordable one compared to san jose of all places.

Woodlea on Belair Rd
Fenwick on Harford Rd
Yai Yai's on old Philly Rd.
Sadly bakeries are becoming fewer and fewer. Too much work for people today. Every time I go to Woodlea, every one , workers and customers are excited and chattering. Esp us old men.

Sorry to hear that. I was invited to a nephew's house for Christmas dinner - Five out of control kids under the age of 10 and a wife who usually has an epic Karen meltdown at least once during the event. I begged out of going and am looking forward to a day of relaxing and not having to be anywhere.

That’s very nice of you thank you. If I come out, Yes I’ll probably join after new year :)
Trying to get some things together I probably need a head band, it’s so cold, especially right now!
