There are local alternatives to Fogo in some cities. La Barrita is not one.

If you’ve never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, yes absolutely. It’s a bit of an experience. The food itself is pretty good, but not great. You go because you can get like 16 cuts of meat, not because any of those 16 are amazing.
The salad bar is pretty solid too. I could see a vegetarian enjoying it. There’s also some solid bacon available on it.
The Brazilian Limeade is quite nice. The cheese bread has a million calories.
Service varies. The first one I ever went to was in Chicago for lunch. It wasn’t busy and the service was incredible. Constant stream of meat and when my glass approached half empty I had a refill incoming. That was honestly an awesome experience. I’ve been to others that were so-so… I swear sometimes I’d just not see some cuts unless I specifically requested them.

That place is still operating? I thought they closed during COVID. Do they still do dim sum?

Sigh. Let the man eat.
Some people just want an above average quality AYCE buffet of just meat. Nothing else fills that description in the city.
There is a local alternative to everything. But sometimes I just want a blooming onion from Outback.

Yes I can’t possibly imagine why anyone would be rude to this person who seems to be nothing but a shining ray of light and positivity

Much much less than a dui or accident will cost if you really need to put it in perspective. Im sure the amount of uber drivers out surge for something so close by wont be but a couple beers.

It's been years since I went out on NYE but I used to just stay out til 3/4 until I called for a ride. I never paid a surge price after waiting. Most bars stay open so it's not like we sat on the curb for 2hours, we just stayed in the bar

As someone else said, it’s a chain with many locations around the country — nothing to write home about. Spend your money at a local spot like La Barrita — argentine steakhouse that’s >>> any chain in the city

There’s a promo for Lyft rides in Maryland throughout the holiday season to help offset the cost. Spending a few bucks is worth the safety and peace of mind. And you can focus on having a good time. It’s gonna be warm, so things could get extra

There’s going to be surge pricing on NYE, late night Ubers can be expensive. I’ve paid $45 for a ride that is usually $15-20

You nailed it. There wasn’t public trash pickup before the mid 1900s. So what petter place to toss your trash then a hole you already had outback that would periodically be cleaned out.
It wasn’t great but as long as you didn’t go down there yourself and kept up the maintenance it would have been tolerable

It’s like 60ish bucks per person for all you can eat meat and sides (at dinner - might be cheaper during lunch or brunch). It’s fine, I’ve been before but not really a must go. It’s a chain restaurant with a bunch of locations so if you can’t go to the one here there are plenty more across the country to go to.

Wouldn't the Grinch hide your face too? Especially if you had the whole face paint and beard. Obviously both characters make this person a crappy person, but I feel like the Grinch could have been just as covert.

Not my stoop, just relaying information from the ring app.
That being said, I do love a good Christmas conspiracy.

thanks. following your channel now! Any insight on why people through glass containers and other stuff down into the privy? Were they also used as garbage receptacles? Did they ever have to shovel them out? I can't imagine a hole in the ground to smell very good or be hygenic.

A black Santa your first Christmas in Baltimore shows up on your stoop Christmas Eve or Day, which falls on a Saturday and Sunday, and it also happens to be possibly the coldest Christmas on record, and steals packages left by a Christmas delivery person I presume... and not only do you get the packages back, the thief is caught? Like. That's a lot lining up perfectly, I guess.
