Ok, you aren’t telling me anything I’m not already intimately aware of lol. When I said do-able, I meant in the context of running more Camden line trains vs implementing this entire project, which is absolutely true. At the end of the day, none of this will be built, so you don’t have to worry

Back when I lived in a rowhouse the handle was never mounted to the spigot. We would take it outside and put it on as needed. When we sold, the buyer requested that we attach it permanently. I was like "are you sure?"

The issue there is the Camden line is a CSX freight line, the Metropolitan line, which introduces too many wrenches to wreck the works. St. Dennis is also near a junction where CSX's Old Main line connects up -- that line connects up to Monocacy and Fredricksburg, aka a branch of the MARC Brunswick line.

So "do-able"? Not really. But I'd support bus service from Halethorpe to the Guinness factory.

I’m aware. It’s there for the Guinness factory and to spur any eTOD, although that would require re-zoning and political effort (although what part of the project wouldn’t). Ideally, the stop would become more useful even if nothing was there if more Camden line trains were run (or at least run at the frequency of Penn line trains) which is strangely the most do-able part of this whole map.

Nothing shown is really outlandish other than the segment from UMBC to BWI on the E and the detour through Curtis Bay on the D, which actually isn’t shown. And outlandish is sort of hyperbole, none of these lines are as along as BART for instance, or the Red or Silver lines in DC

And I'll encourage limited expectations. I had to reach out to my council person during the pandemic about unemployment. I called multiple times, and emailed. They got back to me around 3-4 months later asking if it was cleared up. It wasn't, I was just unable to move forward and was frustrated after spending hours on it.

Just don't want OP to place all his eggs in this basket, some of our council people District 7 can be downright irresponsive, incompetent or both.

i could but that would probably put me in some legal jam and constitute stealing. i'll just keep calling animal control till they get annoyed and do something about it. not getting my hopes up though.

if you see human being treating their pet like that it tells you a lot about what kind of person they are so if i try to "liberate" their dog and get caught i am only inviting all kinds of legal and physical problems on myself. best to just continue to pursue legal options to try and help the dog out.

i'm not giving up on that dog. that much i know.

Be very careful of scammers coming into your DMs after seeing this. They might try to send you money that shows up seemingly legitimately

in your bank account (a fake check), but then ask for some of it back, or ask you to send some to their landlord or something. The money they sent you is fake and will be taken out of your account after a few weeks, leaving you even worse off. Just please be careful, because these people notoriously prowl Reddit looking for those in need to prey on. Sorry you’re going through this, and especially during the holidays. 😔

Yes, this is why I admittedly ignored the voice of the home inspector this summer. And coming out of this weekend, I actually lucked out on the timing.

No, just a cup. My mind went to the residual water on the ground and passersby slipping on ice. Fortunately it will warm up quickly today.
