bikes are supposed to follow the rules of the road. ironically that type of street is one of the safest types of streets to bike correctly on, low speed crowded one way streets you can go almost as fast as a car. sometimes on huge roads you will see people counterflow but that's so they can see whats coming at 45mph. sounds like this guy was just taking a shortcut.

MHIC exists for people who were ripped off, not for people who are dissatisfied the quality of work.

If the contractor took the down payment and did no work, MHIC. If the contractor broke a law, like taking greater than 1/3 down, MHIC.

Pretty limited circumstances in which MHIC will compensate a homeowner or sanction a licensed contractor.

Yeah, it's surprising to hear that. I took pride in the work and tried to deploy scooters the right way (I did occasionally see some in front of fire hydrants, etc, and I reported those to the company). From what I observe in south Baltimore, the poor deployments seem fairly evenly distributed among the companies, with Link seeming to be the worst of them.

The bike is in the wrong for going the wrong way.

It happens, sometimes that's just the best way to get somewhere and on a slow/low traffic street it's nbd, but the bike should be respectful and be the one that gets out of the way.

We’re staying at the holiday inn express at ingleside and rt 40. They gave me the Snitches get Stitches look as I watched in disbelief. I was born and raised just a few miles from here and hate seeing the city I love get trashed like that.

3 permits, so that way there is diversity without it becoming to encumbering. Having too many scooter types would be frustrating to the residents, making them sign up for multiple accounts.

Honestly, we're sorry that happened to you. Lime was given multiple opportunities to change, we just couldn't ignore 10x as many citations.

Why only 3 available permits?

I'm just bitter because when Lime left I lost my job - I earned just about exactly what I pay in Balt City property taxes every month! Lime was the only company that used independent contractors, which is just perfect for someone like myself.

I would be very cautious the water here is extremely toxic dangerous and smells bad. Needles and broken glass all over and the occasional homeless person can be very agressive. Maybe go with a group

We held a competitive application process for the dockless vehicle permit, all applications were scored based on a pre-set rubric, the categories of which were shared with the operators.

We had 5 applications for 3 available permits.

Lime’s application did not score high enough to be awarded a permit; Link, Spin, and Bird scored higher.

One contributing factor to Lime’s score is that in the past 2 years they have been issued ten times as many citations as the other operators combined.

They lost points on the application because of the citations. Those citations are only issued AFTER warnings.

Citations can be appealed, Lime has not opted to appeal any of them.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Never been to power plant you ask? Well, are you older than 23? If yes, avoid at all costs unless underground pizza is doing the food. (On a side note, I still am upset that’s the location they settled one)
