So I see these giant bills and they kinda scare me due to things already being tight elsewhere bill wise. I've been on budget billing for 2 years now and my bill is a flat 225 every month. When I get my paper copy it breaks down gas and electric $ each month and I'm almost always in the 170-190 range. Makes me wonder if I dropped budget would I be paying less due to what I use? Or would it potentially skyrocket too? I've been keeping a close eye on each bill now that we're in winter inhopes of seeing that make my gas will go up usage wise and that's why I seem to pay more the rest of the year? If it doesn't than should I drop budget? Totally confused, lol. Thanks for letting me rant.

Baltimore county, radiant heat winter, a/c cooling summer.

I did not know.

Welp, just another thing to feel anxious about when traffic slows in the tunnel for any reason. 🥴

What I enjoy about this picture is the confirmation. Got in argument on here about how much of downtown was surface lots for a stretch. I've always been curious about the city feeling during transition phase from working docks/harbor to office/tourism. Was it at hopefully as the politicians sold it to be?

Make sure all your radiators are working properly. You need to bleed the air out from time to time. They have small valves on the side. Also insulation sleeves work really well over the exposed pipes.

Not going to Ottobar but I'll be going OUT-- and when I do, the less the better!

I definitely recommend layers though. Ottobar always gets stuffier imo and I end up needing to slip onto the street to breathe a bit.

Many many people, especially in the burbs, talk about Baltimore (and american cities in general, though applicably globally) back in the day as some wonderland. But cities were significantly dirtier, water more polluted, and more run down. Not to even bring up the smack in your face racism and in general discrimination.

We've had amazing progress in the last 50yrs. And we need to stop romanticizing the past. The past was the worst.

I'll be upstairs, wearing shiny combat boots and maybe something sparkly! I don't think you have to stress, Ottobar is chill and punky, you can basically do what you want.
