Mindpub has a great vibe and nice seating esp upstairs.

CoBalt on 36th street in Hampden. I think their day passes are $20. I’ve gone there whenever there have been power or cable outages in my neighborhood.

I’ve tried working at coffee shops and such, but I’ve found that my productivity takes a hit from the distractions. CoBalt is really quiet and chill. I always get a lot done when I work there.

I think the best thing that can be said about Hizzoner's Crime Plan is that shootings aren't getting worse. We settled out at what, like 1,100 shootings, 330 of which succeeded. I'm not a criminologist and don't have a plan. But if the best you can say is that you managed to keep one of the most murdery places in the country the same, I'd say you're fair game to get critiqued from the cheap seats and keyboard jockeys on reddit.
