Firefly Farms’ stall in whitehall mill has an extensive selection of fine goods, as well as a great wine selection and very helpful staff.

Pro tip: they do have the menu of any other faux Italian place, but some of their pasta dishes are better than anything you’ll find in Little Italy. The Mediterrano (pink sauce, crab meat, shrimp, scallops) and Reffugio (pink sauce, chicken, mushrooms) are both absolutely to die for. And, as others have mentioned, an incredible staff. My family has been going for decades and the quality has never dropped

The stretch between Fayette and Orleans was much less of a highway when Sojourner Douglas College's main campus was active (the college shut down 10 years ago, and then burned multiple times, but that's another issue.) Getting that building redeveloped is the real key to slowing traffic down - the block would be a destination, not a thruway.

I live near too and we love Lil’ Niros at my house. We’ve never tried franks. Too bad we just had pizza tonight. Next time we’ll have to try from there.

I agree. But I hope they do some sort of traffic calming at Central and Fayatte and Central and Orleans because that is very stroady, and all I ever see is people booking it towards Hopkins/the Calvert Street overpass on Orleans or to President/to Hopkins on Fayette.

And Cathedral Hill (which is basically the hill the Basilica is on and it is a bitch if you're going up to the library, Streets Market, or... The Basilica 😂).

Check out the spaces at 1100 Wicomico (Pigtown)! I love my workshop/studio there, and it’s an awesome building with so many vibrant tenants!

What size space are you looking for? I have a warehouse with available space in Better Waverly with its own entrance, very large windows, and it’s own plumbing.

Savers in Parkville and the Goodwill at 1763 E Joppa usually have pretty well-stocked mensware sections. Definitely also consider checking out Uptown Cheapskate up York Rd. Plato’s Closet is also is on the way up to Uptown Cheapskate - their menswear section is relatively small and leans casual but I do find some gems in there every once in a while.
Congratulations on the new job, my friend! What a way to start the new year!
