I live in a new apartment building and my water is about $20 a month and electricity is under $100 for the winter (budget billing plan) and about $80 in the summer. Helps that I only wash clothes once a week in cold water and take short showers.

FWIW I currently live in a 550 sqft, recently renovated building. BGE bills have been around $50-80/month (living room/reptile room set to 78F so I might be an outlier). And my water/utilities is included into my rent and it’s a flat $20.

“Utilities included” doesn’t seem to be a common thing though, at least when I was apartment hunting?

If they're planning on living in the city :

500 Park Ave

Gallery Tower

611 Park Ave

All these buildings have pools and are in a great neighborhood. Oddly enough, they're all within a block of each other. 500 Park Ave is new construction, if that matters. Good luck with the search!

This can be a very tricky question. My current one-bedroom apartment runs me between 60-$120 a month. Lower costs spring and fall, higher in August and January. My former apartment (larger) had no insulation in the ceiling (flat roof building) and basically could not be heated over about 62 degrees and still ran me $200+. Neither could it be cooled to 85° for less than that. All I can say is: watch (be wary of) old buildings, and be wary of recently rehabbed buildings. My building was a converted shoe factory. A lot to love, but essentially no climate control.

It depends on usage, which depends on efficiency of your appliances, what you set the thermostat to, if your windows are weatherized etc. I live in a new building apt about that size and electric is like $60-120ish per month with winter and summer being higher than shoulder seasons. Water I think is cheap like $30-$50

Thank you!! Not this exact show, but I have several upcoming shows around Baltimore! I keep all my dates on my instagram @ HahaHannahAldenJeffrey — the next one is Half of This is Planned at the Lou Costello Room in Hamden on the Avenue. It’s a standup/improv mashup show that’s always a LOT of fun! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/half-of-this-is-planned-tickets-500395074137
