On 2nd & 4th Fridays we play Crokinole at No Land Beyond (Basement- 1st room to the right). Gather around 7PM and typically have 4-6 boards available to play. 1st hour is open play followed by a friendly competition. Come learn! Think of it as a combo of shuffleboard and curling (without the ice). Players take turns flicking wooden discs to gain points. We are a welcoming group and love new guests! Come join us! Per The Sun: "Investigators believe Mendoza shot and killed Carter following a dispute." So, unclear if the dispute arose from a random interaction or something else. Also unclear who instigated things.

In general though, seems like a lot of the shootings among young people are from "disputes", i.e. simple disagreements that used to be settled without guns.

Too many to list but primarily not showing up to a very important community meeting about the violence uptick in Fells. It was via zoom and he could not post. Didn’t even “send” a staffer. It was a joke and everyone involved was dumbfounded.

Most recently they forgot to tell the entire neighborhood about all the road closures for the bike race on Labor Day weekend until about two days before. When questioned they straight up lied to me in writing and said the race course had only recently been disclosed due to security reasons, but I found a 6 month old post by the race organizers with the route.
