Reply to Anyone ever considered or knows someone that did the $1 home in Baltimore? What was the end cost and the experience? by BeyondRecovery1
I've chatted a few times with someone who did it in the late 1970's in Barre Circle. Lot's of stops and starts, problems with contractors, etc. Interesting stories about her and her neighbor's rehabs. In the end it was worth it. She still lives there.

Yeah, I think the MICA offer was a few years ago - I don't think they're in a financial situation to do much right now, unfortunately...

My bad. The news was all over it, so I assumed it was over and was waiting to hear that Atlas grabbed it.

Have you ever tried coming in the back door to avoid the stairs out front?
edit: In retrospect this sounds kinds shitty of me. OP should not be relegated to alley entrances at MRT or anywhere else.

You'll likely be looking at an hour or so in transit. Depending where you are in Upper Fells you can head towards downtown to catch the Red or Green line. Red will drop you off at Dulaney Valley by Towson Town Center and you'll need to walk up to Goucher there.
Green will drop you off on the back end of Towson Town Center on Fairmount and you'd walk from there.

Oh interesting, I saw that it was closing and hadn’t seen that the sale went on hold. I’ll still say their food is not good, though.

How can we put a bug in their ears to make the place more wheelchair accessible? There just aren't a lot of institutions, especially divey ones, that are (shout out to Ottobar's first floor tho) and I'd like to go with my friends!

There's a waterfront park in Essex, Cox's Point. And you don't need a fishing license on their grounds. Also has a Pier and a few bank spots.

They were just going to auction, not closing. But the auction got called off, then a deal fell through and they are going back to auction soon.

Can’t go wrong with RayBan or Maui Jim. Just be sure to get polarized lenses.

Because it would be incredibly dangerous to get the water there and set up a pumping operation, and the steam created would probably be incredibly toxic.

I donated a bunch of craft supplies to a local elementary school earlier this year. They'll be grateful to accept everything. I suggest calling ahead and asking what time is good for them. The office will be busy at the very beginning and end of the day and lunch time can get busy too.

Little Donna’s makes their own and it’s just incredible - but you do have to engage in the strange (but good) midwestern practice of dipping pizza crusts in ranch
