And there is the cost of interest on the debt and the little problem of finding someone to buy them. I don't think there are 14,000 homebuyers waiting to buy a renovated rowhouse for $300,00 in the city neighborhoods where the vacants exist. A few of them on the edges but not 14,000 of them.

On a lighter note- There is a fruiting pear tree on the triangle of land, at the intersection of MLK Blvd & Howard St. If you are in the lane which is turning right onto Howard, (in front of the hospital, the small tree is on the left. Sometimes panhandlers stand on that spot. It stands about 7 ft high. It may be a remnant of the Bolton Estate, which sat very near that location, and which the Armory now occupies a portion of the estate property.

So I take it that your opinion is that Clean Harbors should not be operating here at all? Or is there something specific about this waste that you're concerned about?

Edit: Lots of downvotes here, so for those of you who believe that Clean Harbors won't properly treat this waste, our politicians included it seems, why should they be allowed operate at all? What other harmful substances are they discharging to Back River?

Housing vouchers are a protected class under Maryland Fair Housing. This means a landlord, whether a private landlord or an apartment cannot deny you based on a housing voucher.

Is this what you’re asking? About the housing voucher?
