99.99% of people are not going to bike during the winter. It's also a nightmare with children or if you want to carry something heavy or in the rain or if you have a disability. You hipsters need a serious reality check on this topic. The constant posting absolutely reeks of ableist upper middle class privilege.

Mount Vernon and Bolton Hill have the most galleries, art events (including artscape), and art stores. They’re also close to plenty of bars and restaurants. Bodegas aren’t really a thing here, but there are a few grocery stores.

They’re also where MICA and the BSA is located. So lots of artists and art students.

Only problem is they’re way more expensive than other neighborhoods.

Sometimes it is necessary. Like if your sub gets overrun with legitimate posts that all belong to a related thing. Sure, it's hard to drive traffic to other subreddits but it can work with a pinned post or links on the side or both, coupled with people referring to that sub when people crosspost. I get that it isn't ideal but it's better than the other options (banning relevant posts or just allowing all types of posts), no?

Imo, the suburbs have some of the most aggressive drivers I have experienced in this state. Owings Mills is definitely in the top 5. I think it's the long boulevards there with very few breaks for pedestrians, and all the double and triple one-ways. Also rare street parking. People treat them like race tracks.

For what we spend on that helicopter we could train new ones and give them a decent salary. This is just a stupid use of resources - and rather than creating more resources for the community it's focused on punishing people, which is an objectively dumb way too deal with most societal problems that could be solved by creating more resources.
